The event is being hosted by The Patrina’s who every month provide free concerts with the band Littlehouse in their renovated barn. The Patrina’s are very well known in the Farmington Valley area for their charitable events and community participation. Joe Patrina is a singer/ songwriter as well as an author of 4 books. A former successful businessman Joe and his wife give more than their fair-share back to the community.
So please come with your friends and family to a day of fun and learning at the Patrina’s.

Don Pesci: For 30 years Don Pesci has been writing political columns for a variety of Connecticut newspapers including the Journal Inquirer, the Torrington Register Citizen, the Middletown Press, the Waterbury Republican American and others. His political blog, Connecticut Commentary: Red Notes From a Blue State, is among the oldest and most frequently visited political blog in the state. Don writes for the lionize national political online news agency Ameriborn News.
Peter Wolfgang, President, FIC Action and Executive Director, Family Institute of Connecticut Family Institute Of Connecticut Mission is: Healthy families are indispensable to the preservation of a strong and free society. Family Institute of CT is dedicated to strengthening the family and affirming values upon which our great nation is based. Peter Wolfgang joined the Family Institute of Connecticut as the Director of Public Policy in 2004 and became Executive Director in 2007. Peter holds a Juris Doctorate from University of CT School of Law and is a member of the Connecticut Bar. He also has a Bachelors Degree in International Studies from The American University in Washington, D.C. Peter was born and raised in Manchester, CT. He and his wife, Leslie, live in Waterbury with their four children: Elizabeth, 7, Katharine, 5, Isaac, 3, and Rose, 1. In 2006 they were named "Family of the Year" by the Connecticut State Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Guest Speaker: “The Patriot Pastor" Garrett Lear Garrett Lear, a native New Englander born in 1948 is known across the nation as “The Patriot Pastor” because of his expertise and extensive knowledge of the founding of America, his deep and abiding love for the original intent of The Founding Fathers and his understanding of The New Testament Church. He has 392 years of ancestry in New England America and is a member of the National Society Sons of The American Revolution and is a member of several historical societies. As a pastor in the great tradition of the colonial Black Robed Regiment, his ministry has an extensive archive of American Christian history. As a recipient of many patriotic awards, he has been in continuous ministry since 1974, having preached God’s Word throughout the 50 states of America, Canada and Eastern Europe. With his commanding 6’7” stature, Pastor Lear continues to stand boldly in defense of Biblical truth amidst the current cultural and spiritual malaise. With his deep love for the Lord, he teaches, instructs and counsels all to follow in the royal path of Christ. He is known to be a great encourager of victorious Christian living in all circumstances. Pastor Lear has been a denominational leader, local pastor, evangelist, prison chaplain, prayer intercessor and local leader of many national ministries. He has been privileged to be a Bible college teacher, Gospel singer, worship leader, revival and conference speaker. He is a spiritual elder and mentor, often called upon to provide counsel and guidance to church, government and business leaders across the country. As a man’s man, Pastor Garrett has been particularly appreciated in leading men’s ministries, as “iron sharpeneth iron”. In 1980, Pastor Lear founded the The Well of Living Water Christian Ministries based on John 4, after a lengthy time of fasting and prayer. Due to the demand for his preaching and extensive knowledge of America’s Christian History, Pastor Lear expanded his ministry into the public media. Over the years, he has been a popular radio and television guest including such national programs as The 700 Club. He has hosted his own radio broadcast “Water From The Well” and owns several Internet websites that are widely visited. Being led by the Holy Spirit, his practical application of Biblical principles are seasoned with many years of living by faith and the testimonies of The Lord’s miraculous answers to prayer. Pastor Lear has four children, numerous foster children, four grandchildren and many spiritual sons and daughters in The Lord. Pastor’s home and ministry are based in the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire where Garrett enjoys many outdoor activities and supports local organic farming for healthy living. He is the Chaplain for the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution's New Hampshire and Massachusetts chapters and various veterans organizations.
Feature Speaker Peter Lumaj candidate for Sec. Of The State Peter Lumaj, who escaped from communism in Albania to seek freedom and liberty in the Untied States, came here and sought out the American Dream to own his own successful law firm and stand with our founding fathers to keep America a place for opportunity and liberty. Peter is now running for Sec. Of The State of Connecticut and wants to bring fair and honest elections to the state that is known as the "Constitution State".
